Professional interests/researches
• Information technology in medicine; endoscopic technique in surgery; bariatric, plastic and endoscopic surgery.

The main areas of professional activity:
• General, abdominal and laparoscopic surgery
• Plastic and aesthetic surgery
• Bariatric surgery (treatment of overweight and morbid obesity)
• Thoracoscopic surgery
• Laparoscopic herniology, including diaphragmatic hernias
• Simultaneous (one-step) interventions in surgery, gynecology and urology.

Education:
Higher education: Vitebsk Medical Institute, extramural postgraduate study in surgery at the Department of Hospital Surgery, International Institute of Management, specializing in international relations manager, internship in surgery at the Smolensk Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Russia, retraining in plastic surgery.

Working career:
In 1989, he graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the Vitebsk Order of Friendship of Peoples of the Medical Institute. Internship in surgery took place at the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital. Since 1990, he worked as a surgeon in the medical unit of construction organizations in Vitebsk, and since 1994 - as the head of the department of endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery of this hospital. He studied in absentia in postgraduate studies at the Vitebsk Medical Institute, which he finished ahead of schedule in 1994 in connection with the defense of his Ph.D. thesis. Since 1995 he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Hospital Surgery No. 1 of the Vitebsk Medical Institute and also as the head of the department of minimally invasive surgery at the Vitebsk Regional Hospital. In 1997 he was transferred to Minsk to the position of Deputy Chief Physician of the Republican Hospital of the Presidential Administration. At first he worked as a deputy for the outpatient department, then as a deputy for surgery. In 2001 he defended his doctoral dissertation, becoming the youngest surgeon - doctor of medical sciences in the republic. In 2002, due to the reduction of his position, he moved to work as the head of the center's surgery department. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as Deputy Director of the Vector Medical Center. Since 2014 he worked as Deputy General Director for Surgery, and since 2016 as a surgeon at the LODE multidisciplinary medical center. Currently he is the head of the department of general, plastic and bariatric surgery of the State Institution "Minsk Scientific and Practical Center of Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology"

• Subject of doctoral dissertation: "Predicting the outcome and prevention of complications of laparoscopy in patients with increased operational risk", 2001
