Professional interests/researches:
Physics and technology of low-temperature plasma (properties of a gas discharge, plasma technological processes for processing components of electronic engineering èëè electronic engineering components).

Education:
• 1972-1977 - Minsk Radio Engineering Institute (MREI), specialty "Design and Production of Radio Equipment";
• 1982-1985 - postgraduate studies at the MREI under the supervision of A.P. Dostanko, professor, doctor of technical sciences, academician of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus;
• 1989 - the defense of a Ph.D. thesis at the Defense Council at the MREI;
• 1995 - awarded the academic title of Associate Professor;
• 2003 - Doctoral thesis defense at the Defense Council at BSUIR;
• 2006 - awarded the academic title of Professor in the specialty: "Electronics and Microelectronics";
• 2013 - elected as a full member (academician) of the International Higher Education Academy of Sciences of Higher Education (IHEAS) (Moscow, Russian Federation).

Working career:
• 1977-1992 - work at the department of TREA (SET, ETE) of the MREI in the positions of a junior research associate, research associate, senior research associate;
• 1992 - Associate Professor of the Department of SET;
• 1995-2016 - performed duties of the Deputy Head of the Department of ET (ETE) BSUIR;
• 1996-2001 - Member of the BSUIR University Council;
• 1996-present - Member of the Council of the Faculty of Computer-Aided Design;
• 2002-2004 - concurrently performed duties of the Head of Scientific Research Laboratory 10.4 of BSUIR: "Modification of Solids in Electromagnetic Fields";
• 2004-2008 - concurrently performed duties of the Director of the Scientific Research Center 10.1 of BSUIR: "Center for Electronic Technologies and Technical Diagnostics of Technological Media and Solid State Structures";
• 2004-present - Professor of the Department of Electronic Technology and Engineering, BSUIR;
• 2005-2018 - member of the Dissertations Defense Council D 02.15.03 at BSUIR (scientific secretary of the council);
• 2018-present - Member of the editorial board of the scientific journal "DOKLADY BGUIR";
• 2008-2020 - Member of Program Committees 23-29 Symposia "Plasma Physics and Technology" (Prague, Czech Republic);
• 2017-present - Member of the Scientific Committee of the Physics of Swithing Arc Symposium (Brno, Czech Republic);
• 2017-present - Member of the editorial board of the scientific journal "Plasma Physics and Technology" (Czech Republic);
• 2018-present - the Chairman of the Dissertation Defense Council D 02.15.03 at BSUIR.

Taught academic subjects:
• Radio Electronic parts technology;
• Physical and technical foundations for the development of technological modules of electronic-optical equipment;
• Beam and plasma technologies.

Main publications:
Author and co-author of more than 350 scientific and educational papers and works. Among them, there are 11 monographs (one individual), 13 copyright inventor`s certificates and patents of the Republic of Belarus, articles in peer-reviewed national and foreign journals, 2 textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

Merits, awards, incentives
• 1987 - the winner of the Republican competition of young innovators for the best creative development in the nomination: "The most original invention of the year";
• 1990 - awarded the prize and awarded the honorary title: "Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Belarus in the field of science and technology";
• 2006 - awarded the prize and awarded the honorary title: "Laureate of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the field of technical sciences’;
• 2007, 2012 -awarded a monthly personal charge for outstanding contribution to the social and economic development of the Republic by the orders of the President of the Republic of Belarus, A.G. Lukashenko;
• 2014 - awarded with the badge of the Ministry of Education "Excellent Worker of Education";
• 2014 - awarded with a gold badge "For Merits to BSUIR".
For effective social activities, progress in scientific and pedagogical work, achievements in the field of science and higher education awarded two Certificates of Merit of the Central Committee of the LKSMB, the Certificates of Merit of the MREI and BSUIR, the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, the Certificate and the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry Education of the Republic of Belarus, Certificate of Merit of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
