International Cooperation
Main areas of international cooperation:
- education of foreign students
- development of academic mobility of students, research and academic staff; included education of students in foreign universities
- organization of international exhibitions, conferences and workshops
- cooperation with universities and scientific centers of foreign countries in the field of education and science according to bilateral agreements
- execution of international contracts on development and supply of research products
- participation in international programs and projects
The University has a wide geography of inter-university cooperation. BSUIR has bilateral agreements with as many as 60 universities and research centers from 26 countries all over the globe.

Bilateral agreements include joint scientific projects, preparation of scientific publications, participation in conferences and summer schools, scientific exchanges, included education of students, and language courses, training of specialists of higher scientific qualification.
We have a traditionally active cooperation with the University of Wuppertal (Germany), Mediterranean Univesrity, Marseille (France), Xi'an Technological University (China), Samara Governmental Technical University (Russia).
Education in BSUIR is attractive and competitive at the global market of educational services. The number of foreigners willing to study in BSUIR increases each year. BSUIR is a multinational University with high reputation. BSUIR has about 300 foreign students from 29 countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Vietnam, Venezuela, Georgia, China, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Moldova, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Syria, Sudan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Sri Lanka.
BSUIR is a recognized scientific center. Scientific developments are widely used by Belarusian and foreign companies. BSUIR has more than 3000 inventors and copyright certificates, the University presents its research developments at prestigious international exhibitions in Germany (Hannover Messe, Cebit), China, Libya, Vietnam, India, Syria, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Russia, and Baltic states.
Our University is executing contracts on research and supply to research products for organizations of China, India, Germany, USA, Poland, Italy, Libya, South Korea, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine. Research developments of BSUIR are presented at the Radio Technology Transfer Center
Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics is a traditional organizer of 9 international conferences:

Students and academic staff of BSUIR take part in international programs INTAS, Europractice, International Science and Technology Centre, Union State, French Society for Research Support , the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), get grants for research activity from the French Society for Research Support, the German Research Foundation (DFG), the International Science and Technology Center, Matsumae Foundation.
BSUIR cooperates with the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE). Students of BSUIR get technical experience in Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Turkey.
The University supports academic mobility of students, post-graduate students, professors and research staff. BSUIR supports foreign trips for training, research activity, reading lectures, participation in international conferences, workshops, and exhibitions.
