Faculty of Engineering Economics

The Faculty trains specialists in the following specialities:
- Informational Systems and Technologies
- Economics and Organization of Manufacture
- Marketing

The Faculty has been created in 1994. The main purpose is to prepare engineer-economists with the qualification in radioelectronics for Belarusian enterprises and organizations. The Faculty has 4 departments, 5 Professors, 35 Doctors, and more than 100 lecturers. Lecturers from 19 BSUIR departments and experts from the largest educational and scientific institutes are involved in the educational process.

Our graduates get the following qualifications: Engineer-Programmer-Economist, Engineer-Economist, Marketologist-Economist. Graduates of the Faculty have integrated knowledge in the field of the economic information analysis and processing.

Students learn general economic subjects: micro- and macroeconomics, finance and credit, accountancy, analysis of economic activities, etc. Depending on the selected specialization students learn special subjects: management of manufacture, marketing, logistics, personnel management, management of foreign economic activity, strategic and innovative management.

Students study information technologies in the subjects: computer information technologies, object-oriented design and programming, system analysis and design of informational systems, development of information systems for Internet etc. Degree of prevalence of the teaching material in economics, mathematics or informatics depends on the selected specialty.

Knowledge received at BSUIR in the field of new informational technologies is the competitive advantage at employment. Our graduates are demanded for work at various enterprises and organizations.
